Local Electricity board

Hi Councillor Jeff Wiszniewski
So glad to see have had the courage to come onto our forum and answer a few questions
This I know not totally a politicians subject but can YOU please try and find a way of getting over to the Electricity board, that we up here on La Marina are more than a little tired of the regular power cuts.
They really are a right bunch of amateurs who couldn’t care a less.
Fed up with computers that have gone wrong because of the power surge, then having to reset the TV and reset the Alarms in the villa all because of this incompetent bunch.
Fed up with having to drive off the Urb to find a restaurant in the evening to have meal at.
This is what it was like back in the 80s down in Torrevieja. I would have thought by now that lessons had be learnt and that they by now could supply regular Electric.
Or do we expect too much???

La Marina

Hi, I totally agree with your comments. I had some food under the grill when it went off. Rare meat is not that bad.
I have printed off your comments and I will try to get some kind of answer as to why.

Update....
According to Iberdrola there was a surge on the demand for electricity at this time resulting in the main supply being interrupted. The system usually resets itself after a short while. This usually occurs a little later in the month such as July and August but there are apparently more visitors here at the moment , than normal.

Hi I live in Agost just inland of Alicante ,
it is about 45 min drive from La Marina

Agost is little known about by ex pats it is a small village famous for pottery, there are many shops selling pottery and displays of pottery making

Also it is the start of a mountain walk / mountain bike route called the via verde Agost- Maigmo which is 22 km in length, maigmo is a mountain with a hight of 1299m almost as high as snowdon in wales

Services

Dont forget to tell our advertisers that you saw their details on our website!!

A Spanish Life

I love the idea of the Spanish Life websites however I notice that none of them have actual information about the town/village that they cover. It would be good if there was a page where you have local information - maybe information about the town itself, phone numbers for local services such as the police, town hall and doctors etc. details of the fiestas - pages not for advertising.

If the site is about a specific area surely this is information that would be useful?
